Maria is an emerging peacebuilder and a student of peace and conflict studies at Veritas University, Abuja, Nigeria. Coming from Benue State in North-Central Nigeria, Maria has experienced conflict and believes peace can only be built when all hands are on deck and those affected by conflict are involved in peacebuilding. She aims to become a peacebuilding consultant across the globe, but most importantly in Nigeria and Africa.
